What’s New in the Simpplr Platform: Recognition Posts, Featured Content & More

Recognition Posts

Recognition posts pull directly from Simpplr's recognition feed, surfacing peer shoutouts and awards on your displays. If you're familiar with the award experience in Simpplr, you'll feel right at home. Posts follow a clean, standardized format showing who gave the recognition, who received it, their department, and the recognition type.

You can also filter recognition posts by department, with location filtering coming in the near future. It's a great way to celebrate your people where they can actually see it.

Summary Display for Site Posts

Simpplr posts can now display a summary of the post as opposed to pulling from the full article body, making it easier to understand posts at a quick glance. You can set a custom summary directly within your Simpplr account, and if no summary is set, your posts will fall back to the body text as before. A small change with a big impact on readability.

Featured Posts Toggle

A new Featured Posts toggle lets you filter your content stream to show only posts that have been marked as Featured within Simpplr.

This is ideal for announcement screens, lobby displays, or anywhere you want editorial control over exactly what appears. Site managers can mark any post as featured directly in Simpplr, giving your comms team a simple way to curate what shows up on your screens.

Improved Auth Flow

Setting up your Simpplr integration just got a lot smoother. Previously, figuring out exactly which portion of a URL to use during setup was a common friction point that slowed teams down before they'd even displayed a single piece of content.

Now, users can paste in the full token URL, and the platform will automatically extract the correct base domain. Setup is faster, errors are reduced, and your team can go from configuration to content on screen in minutes.
