What are the benefits of integrating your Canva designs?

Previously, to connect your Canva designs, you had to go through the process of setting up your Canva connection via ScreenCloud's Playground app. Now, users can easily access the Canva app within the Studio app store and use a more user-friendly setup process. Some other benefits include:

How to use the Canva app

Get started by logging into your ScreenCloud account and choosing the ScreenCloud App Store from the left-hand menu. Next, you’ll need to find the smart embed link from the Canva design you want to share on screen. See our quick setup steps below, or review our detailed Canva app guide here.

Create Your Design in Canva

1. Log in to your Canva account.
2. Design your desired content or slideshow, or choose an existing design.
3. Once completed, click on the Share button.
4. Select More and then choose the Embed option.
5. Copy the provided Smart embed link.

Integrate with ScreenCloud

1. Log in to your ScreenCloud account.
2. Navigate to the Apps section and select the Canva App.
3. Click the app and select Get to create a new Canva integration.
4. Enter a name for your app.
5. Paste the previously copied Smart embed link into the Canva embed URL field.

Configure App Settings

• Slide duration: Set how long each Canva slide displays when shown on screen.
• Slide count: Select to show just a portion of slides from your Canva presentation, i.e. 3 slides of 5 instead of the whole presentation.

Finalize and Deploy

1. Click Save to finalize the Canva app and integration.
2. Add the newly created Canva app to your desired playlists, channel or screen.

To display Canva perfectly with ScreenCloud

• Internet Connectivity: Ensure a stable internet connection for seamless display of Canva content.
• Design Dimensions: For optimal display, design your Canva content to match the resolution and aspect ratio of your digital signage screens.
• Video and animation limitations: If your Canva design includes videos, we recommend that you download the video separately and upload this to your media library, as video playback from the Canva app is not supported - Video from media library can play offline in case of any internet disruptions! For animations, please completely download the Canva presentation and upload this to ScreenCloud.
